Representative Cases
- Delmore v. Commissioner of Public Safety — Defense convinced the Court of Appeals that the right to consult with an attorney before a DWI test had not been fully exercised, despite the fact the driver did consult with one attorney
- McNaughton v. Commissioner of Public Safety — Defense reversed the trial court ruling, convincing the Court of Appeals that the right to consult with an attorney before a DWI test had not been fully enforced, despite the fact the driver did consult with one attorney
- State v. $6,276 — Client convinced the Court of Appeals that the state could not forfeit monies seized in a gambling scheme
- State v. Ender — Defense convinced the Court of Appeals that the trial court had erred in denying dismissal of the case
- Theel v. Commissioner of Public Safety — The driver fought in the Court of Appeals against a trial court ruling that his right to an additional DWI test had been vindicated. This was the first driver ever to prevail on this issue in the appellate courts
- Duff v. Commissioner of Public Safety — again convinced the Court of Appeals that the pre-test right to consult with an attorney had been violated by the police despite the fact that the driver in fact did speak with an attorney
